Eligibility
The applicant shall:
a) Not be more than 65 years of age (As per HEC criteria) on the last date fixed for submission of applications.
b) Have earned a PhD degree from an HEC recognized
or UNESCO-listed institutions. c) Have experience in a Senior Academic, Research and Management leadership position.
d) Possess distinguished Research and Publications record.
Qualification and Experience:
Applicants will be assessed according to their academic and leadership abilities and attainments as well as significant evidence of scholarship, administration, meaningful research, strategic planning, financial management and resource development. A holistic understanding of issues pertaining to the higher education sector including enhancement of pedagogy and quality assurance, research and development, impact on economic development of human and financial resources and constructive social interaction with communities by developing enabling environments in the universities, will be considered as a major asset.
Attention: Candidates who have previously applied for the Vice-Chancellor position in response to the NFC-IET, Multan advertisement dated January 10, 2024 published in Daily DAWN and Daily Jang are advised that they need not to apply again, their applications will be considered as per eligibility criteria including age limit as per previous advertisement.
- Applications for the posts of Registrar, Controller of Examinations and Treasurer must be accompanied with draft/pay order of Rs.3,000/-(non-refundable) in the favor of NFC-IET, Multan In service candidate of Government/Semi Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel.
